A bit over 3 months
It's been about 3months and 22 days since Lucky passed away. Everything seems to have gone back to normal, but we still light that little candle on our dining table and make sure we offer her some food every night. It’s been a bit over 2 months since Lucky passed away. The house still feels empty and cold without her, but we managed to move on piece by piece. I miss how she would push me out from under my desk because she wanted to take a nap under there or how she would beg me for a treat. In Memory of Lucky Duong, 2001-2013
On April 1, 2013, I lost not a pet dog, but a child. She had reached her near peak age of 12 years and her health had deteriorated greatly in the past few months to weeks. I think the worst part of being a parent is having your child die before you. Having a grieving period for your pet sounds ludacris to some people, but to me it was a reality. ( Read more... ) -

Mysql + Java & the Query Nightmares , pt 1

Oreo
About 5 or so years ago, i had set up my home network to do support some wi-fi. I must’ve been craving some oreos or something because i had named my network “oreo”…now, i just find that plain funny :)

The more I code in java, the more I can tell that I haven’t been able to fully comprehend it. I have not yet learn to take advantage of the model classes in association with the main classes….
…one thing that lurks in the dark forest of java coding is the alien layout classes, which I don’t seem to like…
