Aw, this was a nice ending. As much as it broke my heart to see Emily and Naomi not end up together, a tiny part of me is hoping now that there'll be Effy/Naomi on the horizon.

This was freaking brilliant. I have no idea what you were talking about when you said you were worried your characters had gone beyond your control and that you couldn't get them back where you wanted, because this whole time everything has felt natural and made sense and broken my heart and made me stupidly happy at the same time. Like boppingalone said, none of the characters ended up with who I wanted them to, and yet I'm so satisfied by this, I feel so completed by it. Everything fit.

This has been so exciting to go along with!! Watching you update, reading each part became a highlight of my day and I'm weirdly sad it's ended (Hah, I bet you're not!) but it ended so well. NO EPIC DISAPOINTMENT!!

Aw, a beach ending. That's somehow absolutely fitting, with the sand flowing away and the ocean swallowing them whole. I really liked this image of just people coming towards Effy and her kind of sorting things for herself and others with just a few words.
