My goodness, the utter confusion! I feel for Katie. And Effy, especially, in this part. I don't think either of these girls have ever let that much of their own cards show ever. That's such a heartbreaking kiss at the end.

And oh, I'm very happy you'd managed to put in a very warming Panda/Cook storyline. I actually think they'd be very right for each other in ways that, before this, I didn't see explored in fic that often or at all. Sweet. <3

Dude. This will sound odd outside my head, but you write pain well. You've convinced me 100% that Katie will be absolutely perfect with JJ. And Effy. Or JJ. Or Effy.

Your writing is awkward and embarrased and everything that conversation HAD TO BE. It was brilliant. Katie was so honest to the point where it wouold've seemed rude if it was anyone else, but it wasn't, it was Katie fucking Fitch, and that's what she does.
