Confusion the anaesthesiologist.
The skillful physician leaving me paralyzed
Temporary are the times when conversation is allowed
Permanent is the connection unable to forget or discard
Temporary are the times when conversation is forbidden
Permanent is the feeling of regret.
Struggling paralyzed body across confusion's floor
Which door is the goal?
Surely not eternal optimism. The other exit might seem harder at first but yields the best results.
One can't figure everything out.
Making sense of everything eliminates the need to live.
So does eternal optimism
and for that matter hope
at least the versions of both offered in the first exit.
The once struggling person begins to crawl then stumbles then walks briskly out the second door.
