12 Angry Men though? That's you're favourite black and white movie? What about Casablanca? What about Throne Of Blood? What about It's A Wonderful Life? The African Queen? Metropolis? Or any of the others?
It is ingenious though. The director moved the walls in to make it seem more claustrophobic, did you know that? Of course you did.

Really honestly 12 Angry Men - it's just my favourite. If someone was feeling incredibly mean and made me write a top 100, this movie would be #1. (Heretical: I've never gotten Casablanca. And I prefer Stewart in Harvey - it's a lot less cloying than It's A Wonderful Life.) I love Metropolis and The African Queen and Throne of Blood, and also Citizen Kane and The Philadelphia Story and pretty much anything by Charlie Chaplin or Ealing studios (hell, I could probably toss La Haine in there and still be sticking to the letter of the law, if not the spirit), but seriously, I have yet to watch 12 Angry Men to death, and I've watched it a lot ( ... )
