So my presentation didn't crash and burn horribly! I may have brought up Freud too much, and it turned out Tim was an expert on what I ended up referencing (of course he was), but I think I made a coherent argument? Maybe? See, MY surprise twist ending was that I was dead sure you were going to pick Watchmen for the opening credits award.

Holy crap, I didn't even think of Watchmen! Ah well, I'd probably pick Wall-E anyway, although by a very narrow margin - possibly just because (in my opinion anyway) one of the greatest joys of the Watchmen credits is how full of bonuses it is for people who are totally geeky about the comics. Honestly, end credits were the first thing that popped into my head, so I barely even considered openings.

I too loved the end credits of Wall-E! They were just so interesting and fun and artistic.

Apparently the epilogue was only added because preview audiences concluded, not without reason, that humanity would last about six months in the real world. I do love that they pulled off a happily-ever-after so well in the end. :D
