Oh my god, they are gorgeous :)
I haven't tried to make socks with a similar gauge yet (just thick woolly ones for canadian weather) But I MUST, and hope they turn out as awesome.
Good info on dealing with a common problem too :)

Thanks! I never understood the appeal of knitting socks until I knit some with actual sock yarn. Now there's no going back. Then again, I live in Texas where thick, woolly socks aren't very practical.

Gorgeous! I so want to try the Noro sock yarn... yumyumyum.

It would drive me crazy about the spliced yarn. Why can't they be more careful with their yarn? That happens all the time to me with the normal Noro Kureyon... drives me insane.

Thanks! It was definitely worth a try. I had been wanting to try Noro for a long time. So when they came out with a sock yarn, it was fate. And I think I'm now a better knitter for it.

wow. i want to knit those. they are simply amazing and beautiful! i hate to knit socks, but those? just... wow. you should be damn proud of yourself.
