Aussie Viewers: the AD after tonight's eps?!?

UM what the heck is going on with Channel 7?? They advertise Double Death and then stick a EitB bit at the end? THIS MAKES NO SENSE. It's not like they could be showing both of the eps next Sunday because that would be skipping a heap in between ( Read more... )

Ahh, Australian networks, how you fail at everything.

I have no idea, because I don't watch channel seven ever (I tried watching Bones on it when it was reruns after the s4 episode, but then bought the set), but you could try asking at tv_australia. They sometimes know what's happening.

That's just annoying.

I saw that too and I was like 'whaaat..?' Channel 7 are so stupid.

I am thinking they just put that bit in there to get everyone interested and excited. But it's really rude and misleading and people who aren't spoiled now may have their hopes up for the next episode but as we know, that scene isn't actually until the finale.

It wasn't even a general show promo, it was definitely a promo for Double Death. If it was just a general promo I could understand including it, but it wasn't.

It was SOOOOOOOOO weird. For a second I was doubting my Bones-memory... before realising there was DEFINITELY no sexytimes in Double Death except for sexy HANDS (see icon).

Well, as far as I have read in a TV Guide yesterday that they are showing 'The Double Death of the Dearly Departed' this Sunday and then a repeat of Season 2 which will probably be 'The Girl with the Curl'

Yeah, when I saw that on Sunday night I screamed too I was very angry cos it's not shown till another month yet, unless 7 has decided to show double episodes of the new season now instead of the repeats.

I agree they do this to other shows as well. Like with Grey's Anatomy with the finale, even though I don't watch the show but I knew what was going to happen.

I think the only way they did this is to try and get the viewers to watch it due to all the hype of what's to come. Even though they are going to leave the viewers disappointed that the episode wont be shown till another month yet.

Ooh does ch7 do this a lot? I didn't realise... I don't watch much ch7, and usually I don't even watch Bones when it's on tv here... so I didn't realise they do that for other shows too... it's a bit nasty...

I think it's just an advertising ploy. They've done the same with show's like Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, and Desperate Housewives. I mean, the last person who died on DH they were going on about it for more than a month before the episode was shown.
I don't watch any of those shows anymore, but like mcphee06 said, they do it all the time.

I agree about DH as well I was really disappointed about that too.

Thank god for downloads that's why I do cos I can't stand being spoiled.

I have to even warm my mum to avoid watching ads on TV now especially with DH cos of the spoilers they have been putting on. We haven't even had the finale shown here in Tassie yet so I have to keep this week's magazines away from her cos the amount of Spoilers there is in it
