Aussie Viewers: the AD after tonight's eps?!?

UM what the heck is going on with Channel 7?? They advertise Double Death and then stick a EitB bit at the end? THIS MAKES NO SENSE. It's not like they could be showing both of the eps next Sunday because that would be skipping a heap in between

Agreed. I watched the end simply to see the adorable hankerchief bit (Awwww...!!) And then I was like, WTF?! Way to spoil EVERYONE, ch 7.

See, I had the same problem with their advertising for Grey's. I watch it fromt he States so I don't care too much, but we totally weren't supposed to know that it was actually Alex adn Izzies wedding and they totally spoiled that in a 15 sec promo.

Aussie tv promos in general are just sooooo weird. My fav example was actually from ch10 a while back with Criminal Intent... they managed to FABRICATE an entire episode storyline for the ad... they took clips from the ep out of context and were all like this sicko has a thing for women in uniform... how far will Goren go to protect his partner?!? & then the episode had absolutely NOTHING to do with that at all...

Yeah Channel 10 promos made me so angry. WAAAAAAYYY of context. Everything.

Plus the guy and girl they have for the voice-overs just piss me off. Seriously.

I live in Australia.. and is so hard to avoid all the spoilers for the show. Sometimes I succumb to the temptations. :)
Anyway.. they do it for most shows. Like for e.g. Neighbours. They announced Harold's leaving for months before it happened, and Bridget being pregnant. I guess its to help increase numbers at the end because the viewers will be waiting eagerly for the moment. I guess though. it puts of some viewers like me! Or even doesn't have anything to with the ep. just to draw more people in hope that it will be a great episode.

It confused the daylights out of me. At least I wasn't imagining things :)Yeah massive heartattack! I could have died. Let's sue channel 7!

Plus they totally screw around with new eps, they just leave us hanging for SO LONG. So um yeah when I actually care about a show, I'm going to go with the computer, not the tv thank you very much.
