Considering he's an accessory...but that's all he really did...co-conspirator...I say give it a bit...by the end of the season they'll let him out with "time served"

Yeah, Brennan's dad killed a guy and set him on fire and he didn't even go to jail. Is it too much to hope that he could get his job back too?

Well, he's not really an accessory. He did kill that lobbyist himself (even though the guy who jumped out of the closet at him looked nothing like Zack)

However they do it, they HAVE to let Zack out. I mean, everybody knows Brennan can't function well without him (This is me taking last season's premiere episode to lengths) and the viewing audience is hooked on him like Vicodin.
How will he come back IDK, but just like Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG1 even death can't stop our Zackykins love!!!
