Locked Scrapbooks

One of the members just brought up a good point. How is the contest fair to those of you who have locked scrapbooks ( Read more... )

1 sounds good, though it screencaps the page at the beginning of the voting and people who have public posts are still able to alter/update it during the voting. So that means all nominees need to provide screencaps, regardless of the status of the post.

2 If people have their entire journal friends locked it means all that they link to in their scrapbook post goes to flocked pages anyway, so people not on their flist can't read it. Unlocking just the post with links for a few days will not allow anyone else to see things they want to keep locked (unless the scrapbook post is much more than just a place to gather links to posts etc.)

Then again, if people flock their posts do they want to be part of a contest anyway?

Are you talking about the difference between the links in the scrapbook not being seen either? I suppose that you just have to go on faith about the entries for a while, but I like the idea of 1.

What about the ones who are semi fo? I only have private conversations that I want to remember f-locked other than that mine is public. I think...
