Okay, so. Charles and Erik are coworkers. Or one of them can be the boss in some big firm or something. Whichever works for you.

And Raven, Hank, Alex, etc, the whole crew, works with them as well. But everyone's sick of how oblivious they are.

So they plot through office e-mails for a way to get Erik and Charles together.

They are clearly in love, & they need to admit it so that they can go on a series of perfectly orchestrated & adorable dates, & then move in together & adopt several kittens & maybe a gerbil, & then they need to get married & have a gorgeous, outdoor wedding

Highly Evolved Travel is tucked away on the second floor of what had used to be a rather glamorous hotel. In the 1920s it had played home to flappers and jazz and more rum runners than you could shake a saxophone at, and there had been a near constant stream of star-crossed lovers checking in under assumed names. Or at least, that's how Charles likes to tell the story; Erik suspects it was a just-this-side-of-shady place that only washed the sheets once every two guests ( ... )

The Office Commandments were Moira's creation (although she insisted they were as old as time itself, etched on a stone tablet that Moses hadn't bothered to lug down from the top of the mountain), a thorough and decisive list which ensured the office ran as it should. They were stuck to the fridge next to a postcard from Niagara Falls, and so far there were four of them:

01. Thou shalt not be cheerful before 8:15 AM (or, if you are, thou shalt damn well keep it to yourself). If any of us has to be here that early, assume that we are pissed about it, no matter how much we adore our lovely office and our lovely bosses and our lovely paychecks, and act accordingly ( ... )
