Han doesn't feel well at all. Normally, this makes him not want to be around anyone at all, but he misses Andy a lot. Maybe she can help him? He doesn't know. All he knows is that he wants to have her near him and maybe she can help him feel a little better than he does

At the very least, she bought him a knee splint and brought some pain killers her mom had saved up.
She knocks with her free hand, carrying a couple bags in the other.

"Poor thing. Sleep is important! I'll stay to make sure you do, if you want. I don't have classes until the afternoon."
She looks away, a little guilty.
"Well..maybe. Try not to scream or anything, and I won't even try this until the percocet kick in. Then...I guess I'll just try not to be a sissy about it."
Reply
"I won't scream, I promise." He's sure of it.

She grins and nods.
"Ok..well, then I will try to make it go as quick as I can."

"Thanks...really, don't worry about it hurting me, okay? If I can't get it fixed, then it's gonna hurt worse and for a lot longer."
Reply
"If I can't fix it, then you need to go to a doctor. It can't be worse than never walking again, Han. Think about it." She rolls her eyes at him and mock-pouts. "I certainly won't be pushing you in a wheelchair just because you're stubborn."

"You shouldn't be so scared of doctors. Not all of the time, anyway. I mean..surgery is scary, but I don't think this would need it."
Andy hands the cloth over to Han. "Bite down on that. I'll try and take care of your leg. If it's too bad, tell me to stop and I'll wait til the pain goes down some more."
She moves down to the foot of the couch and adjusts him to be laying straight as he can. Then she sits at his feet and takes hold of the ankle and calf of the bad leg to begin to pull it out straight, pulling with increasing force and waiting for his kneecap to slide back over into place. It's sort of icky to look at and wait for.

He takes the cloth and can't help but swallow thickly at the prospect of all of this. Even with the painkillers, he knows this is going to hurt like hell. You don't have to bite down on something if the procedure isn't painful. He nods and lets her do her adjustments and such before putting the cloth between his teeth. Then she's pulling on his leg and oh god that hurts. Still, his only reaction is to bite down harder, eyes rolling back slightly before righting themselves again. He's not going to tell her it's too much, no matter how bad it gets. He's better than this.

The kneecap goes mostly into place on its own, and a little nudging gets it seated. Finally, she's able to let go and let him relax.
"Don't move it at all, ok? I need to get a splint on it."
The splint protrudes from one of the bags and she takes it out. It's a stretchy fabric with two supports built in.
Andy slides it under Han's leg and wraps it tightly around, trying not to make it so tight it cuts off circulation.
"There. All done."

Still, he has to swallow a few times before he can speak. "...thanks."

She's worried she's made it all worse, but for now it seems ok. She's very thankful for Han's bravery. If he had screamed or cried, she never would have been able to do it.

He rolls onto his side with a wince and curls up the best he can. He's not moving from this couch unless the apartment catches fire...and even then, it's possible that he won't.

She looks as stern as she can before leaning in and kissing him.
"I love you. I'd love you with just one leg, but I prefer the two, honestly."
Andy stretches to lay on her side on the space left available next to Han on the couch. She nuzzles him gently and thanks whatever power may look over this world that she got him back.

Wrapping his thin arms around her, he curls close with a yawn. The percocet is getting to him and he's feeling numb and sleepy...and it feels very nice to have her close.

She's more than happy to hold him and wrap around, letting him drift off. It feels good to finally stop worrying some.
