Torchwood Review: Sleeper

My thoughts on the ep.  As always, you get what you pay for.

It seems that this episode has brought out some really mixed reactions from people.  I was really surprised by this because in spite of the fact that this episode didn't focus on the main characters as much (something I usually don't care for) I really enjoyed it.  I felt it flowed really

Sometimes when I read other reviewers I get the feeling that what they want is a knight-in-shining-armor!Jack. What part of "he's the guy who gets to make the hard decisions because he knows the future and he knows when it's going to hit the fan" do they miss?

And you'd think after last week and getting a look at his past and what he was capable of though Captain John they would know better by now.

Of course... seriously, though- this review read my mind! I also couldn't agree more about your thoughts on Owen... it's making me very happy.

I'm sure some people will have issues with this eppy, but all in all, I'm reaaaaaly happy with the direction this Series is going!

I agree with pretty much everything you say. Especially about Ianto.

Yeah; I'm guilty of that. I love Ianto, if he was real; he'd be mine. Mine! I wish.

Definitely agree with you all the way. Even a little bit with what you say as Gwen, I dunno, I can't seem to be overly fond of her, but I do agree she is less irritating in this episode. If they keep this up, I may grow to like her.

Although in my mind I atrribute Ianto's good humour in this ep down to being in a particularly good mood due to a. getting some, (bad-mannered as it is) and b. being all coupley with Jack and having a date to look forward too.

I am trying really hard to like Gwen more. It's a struggle sometimes, but it's helped when she's not throwing herself at Jack or being totally holier-than-thou.
