Stocking suggestions please

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

My husband is buying me a school of tetras for Valentine's Day. The tank is cycled and waiting for inhabitants. Currently it houses six platy who will be rehomed tomorrow so I'm not too worried that introducing 8-12 of something new will cause a major cycle. I need some suggestions though.

This tank will eventually house six angelfish. They are juvs now, about half dollar size (body, if you include the fins they are twice that size). I want a schooling fish, hence the SA tetras. I need a larger tetra, at least 2", so my angels don't eat them. I'm thinking lemon tetra, pristella, red eye, bleeding heart, silver tip, penguin, red/blue columbian, black phantom or bloodfin tetra. Anyone have experience with any of these?

I am going to the area's best pet store this afternoon with my husband and I will probably base my final decision on which tetras from my list they have in stock and what catches my eye the most. I want something that schools and has some color, in addition to meeting my size requirements. Any suggestions?

Also, so this isn't text only, I added updated pictures of the tank after being completely planted.

Before the big plant order arrived:

After: Don't mind the floating plastic plants and the round rocks, they are just temporarily there for the bacterial benefits.
