'Twas a good one. Spent all day out in the yard, mowing, planting, mowing, planting. Had Jess and Mom over for a small cookout, then went back to planting. Got quite a bit done, will probably need to get a few more flowers. We'll see how much further these will go ( Read more... )

Appointment went well. I ended up taking the day off and sleeping most of it. I'm so glad I changed docs. In addition to my breast ultrasound (6 mo follow-up), she's sending me for another ultrasound to check some other things, she's changing one of my rx's, and took several vials of blood to check for anemia, thyroid problems, etc ( Read more... )

My iron must be in the toilet... I've got issues - going to the doc tomorrow in hopes of getting some things resolved or on their way to being resolved. Probably more than I want/need to discuss here, but suffice to say I feel like a walking zombie. Went out with a bunch of girls Friday night to see a favorite band and celebrate Jess' friend's graduation from nursing school and another friend's leave from the Air Force. Four twenty-somethings, and four thirty, forty, and fifty-somethings! Had an absolute blast. Don't remember the last time I laughed until I hurt like that!

Jess came by tonight and we took two cars over to Home Depot to load up on mulch, gardening soil, and peat moss. I got the front and side mowed and weeded while Jess spread the mulch. I put the soil down in the flower beds and spread it. Not bad for getting a late start (6:30pm). Need a few more bags of soil and mulch to finish up but things ( Read more... )
