I don't even know where they got the title for this. She's not working for the Queen. If I ever meet this ghostwriter, I'll probably beat her up. Then, if she died, she'd literally be a ghostwriter. Heh. I'm so funny ( Read more... )

Actually though, Liz never really had a reason for waiting. She didn't want to wait til marriage, she wasn't religious...she was just chicken.

Word. I hate the way this series makes Liz look like a hero...

WTF?! The whole SVH makes the Wakefields heroes, but at least they were heroes in their own turf, if that makes any sense. :P

Yeah, I hate that so much. Liz was just the token virgin so Francine Pascal could say her books didn't encourage sex. *rolls eyes*

It's true, you are =D

He is so destined to marry Elizabeth and buy lavalieres for her all day long. She'll love them.
Hahaha, all day long. Elizabeth could swim in a bath filled with lavalieres!

Apparently Liz had a crush on a Backstreet Boy in ninth grade. I bet it was Nick.
I hope it was Lance. Oh wait, was he in N'Sync?..Whatever, there had to be at least one gay Backstreet Boy.

She returns it to its hiding place, but when she goes back to get it a day or so later, it's gone! NOOO! Ihave no idea why she didn't steal it when she first found it, but I guess then we wouldn't have a story.
I think it was 'cause she heard someone coming and had to quickly rush out without hesitation.

Awesome recap, thanks :)

Yeah, Lance was in N'Sync. I'm sure there's at least one gay Backstreet Boy, but for the life of me I can't think of any. But they can't all be straight...?

And you're right, she did think she heard someone coming. She could've still stuck it in her pocket though.

I never thought the word 'lavaliere' would be used outside of the town of Sweet Valley. It's definitely a sign of destiny though!

Glad you liked the recap!

There is no way you could stalk someone on my university website, unless you had a staff/student login. Then it's stalking all the way!

I went to the University of Florida, and they have a phone book online where you can enter any student or staff member's name and get their campus email address and sometimes a phone number and address.

True that.
Creepy, though. Although I wouldn't mind hot guys looking me up on my university page. But I guess Google doesn't work when your name is Elizabeth Bennet.

...Elizabeth said 'taking the piss'? Well, bang goes my childhood.

This vision of England is nowhere near as bad at the one in the Werewolf in London mini-series (or 'when SVH jumped the shark'). I think that Liz ended up having tea with the queen because she'd met her daughter in the twins' youth hostel...

...Yeah.

Actually at my uni you could stalk people through the website, but it's by no means a given...

I liked this recap. I'm not awake enough to say anything more constructive ^^
