Sounds, umm, interesting :-) i never read this one but I always assumed (and I know assuming things is the mother of all fuck ups, as my bf tells me a lot) that ROBIN was the twins sister, as she is blonde and looks like them, like Margo too, really! Hmm

Which SVT book was it where Amy' house burned down?

#44, Amy Moves In.

Amy's house burns down, she stays with the Wakefields, Elizabeth and Amy don't cope well living and going to school together, the Unicorns become Amy's instant friends because she's the flavour of the month.

The pre-teen boyfriends and girlfriends are all so cute. Todd and Elizabeth declaring themselves and then getting a ride home from his mom made me laugh. Aw!

And go Chrissy, with the Patman-kicking.

The relationships are one of the best parts of SVT. They're so simple, and everyone gets so excited about them. Especially the Unicorns!

Great recap! I really enjoyed reading it. I loved this book a lot as a kid, particularly the Liz/Todd parts. I kind of shipped Jessica/Chad for the duration of this book as well, even though now it's pretty icky. The Amy subplot was awful even then, though.

The twins lost in a desert, and Gael Garcia Bernal.
You've inspired me to start recapping the SVH book where the twins get lost in Death Valley with Bruce, Heather, and Ken Matthews!

I love how many times Elizabeth and Todd go back to zero and then start dating again. It always makes me snicker.

And Chrissy kicking Bruce is awesome. More girls should kick Bruce. I think that would solve a lot of problems.
