This was a long time ago, but yes. There was an actual train set. And everyone was really excited about it, and any time a boy mentioned going to the party, they were all "I hear Joe Howell has an awesome train set!". It wasn't even the ride-around kind.

yea, so this is an old post, but how come Ned and Alice didn't think they were too young to go to Joe's party in this one, but in that other book they were wayyyyyyy too young to go to Joe and Janet's party?
