but I hope everyone else is like me and doesn’t care as long as there is a new posting

I am! Thank you! :D

Genius boy then decides to check to see if they are both off that night. Wouldn’t that have been a good idea to do first?

Ah, Sweet Valley, where half the plotlines wouldn't exist if the characters had any common sense!

Finally, he just announces that he is gay and enjoys the silence.

I love this scene. Doesn't he think/diarise something like "Finally, they've all shut up!"? I also love the scene a few books later where he says "All we've been hearing lately is the Tia-Liz-Conner show and I'm sick of it!" I think you're right that getting rid of Conner would remove the majority of the characters' problems.

Yes, he does. I tried to note in here that all Andy's really good friends ignore him except Ken who has known him the shortest amount of time.
Conner just annoys me. It's as if the whole senior year revolves around him rather than the twins.

I concur- keep the community a-live like someone should have done with Margo Black

I realise now that although I laugh and snark at the unrealistic werewolf/ vampire/ evil doppleganger storylines of SVH proper, as soon as Sweet Valley became believable it lost its magic. Sorry senior year, I heart you not - bring back Carl-the-Orderly anyday.
Good recap, though!

I didn't care for the werewolf/vampire storylines, but the Pom-Pom Wars were my favorite. Not really impossible, not really possible. Cotton candy for the brain, once people started whining so much it wasn't as interesting.
