How weird! They really watered down these storylines beyond recognition. A world without Bruce trying to paper-cup rape Liz, is a world I don't want to live in.
ETA: I didn't know they did novelizations of the TV series. Now I don't know where to put it in the profile. LOL. Life = complicated.
I think they should go under the TV list, since they're watered-down versions. Sound good?
I didn't know they did episode novelizations either! We could also make a Prince Arthur tag "Santa Dora the Explora", because when unnecessaryhat wrote that in her recap of book 91 I laughed for a long time, and now magnaedition came up with it too! It's obviously meant to be.
Todd walks up, saying “Hey, what is going on here?” which I picture him saying just like Mr. Belding in Saved by the Bell
HA! Awesome.
So in 4 days (because it says it’s Friday evening) Lila has put together a catered party with printed invitations, and everyone has formal wear?
She's amazing. I love her.
God, even in the book of the TV show of the books, Enid is a loser.
I'm not surprised about Enid. But I can't believe there's a book of the TV show of the books. Francine must be so freaking rich.
Todd, the genius, apparently used shoe polish to darken his hair and it's dripping down his face. Sigh.
Hee, poor dumb Todd.
Lila and Winston begin to kiss
Noooooo!
Elizabeth decides to throw her arms in the air like she just don't care and a truck comes careening around the corner!
I cracked up. Hee.
So...wait...no paper cup attempted rape? And Liz wasn't acting like Jess because of her coma, but because she was just being a bitch? I declare shenanigans!
Thanks! After reading this one, I was relieved to find out there were only two!
I think they should have made a tv show of the book of the tv show - and then kept going until it was just a sentence - Elizabeth is a coma, Jessica is mad, Elizabeth is all better! But yeah, it was kind of anti-climatic, she just wanted to be 'wild' because the accident made her realize how short life is. Unless you're her, and your junior year goes on for 24 years.
I didn't even realize the Prince Dora joke had been made before! Well, tip of the to unnecessaryhat - maybe that's why I was calling him that in my head the whole time I was reading.
So... the Prince stands her up, and then sends her a letter saying that he had to return home in an emergency and he'll always love her but forget about the engagement or ever seeing him again, and Jessica is swoony?
Jess hon, I think that's called "getting played." Also known as "going over to the states to have a last fling before marriage, and then ditching the dumb girl who bought your line about "tru luv" when it was really just for sex."
