Didn't she use the Eyes and Ears columns to violate exactly this in SVH?

From the first paragraph, I was seriously hoping that "Elizabeth" would be offering advice to actual SV readers who had written in. I suppose that would be a lawsuit in the making, though, from the grandmother-related casualties alone.

Amazing! We all knew Liz gave crappy advice. This just proves it. I love that the title is a total rip off of "Clarissa Explains It All." Nice.

“To Our Readers,

The Sixers is proud to announce ‘Dear Elizabeth,’ an advice column just for kids. Send in your questions and get great advice from Elizabeth Walkefield. As you all know, Elizabeth Wakefield is a great student, a great writer, and a person who cares about other people’s problems. So write to Dear Elzabeth care of the Sixers, room 204, and take advantage of the wit and wisdom of Sweet Valley Middle School’s very own professional adviser, Elizabeth Wakefield. (Confidentiality respected.)”
I'm surprised you didn't become violently ill after reading this! You are a brave person to soldier through this recap!

Ha! Awesome. Of course, Liz skipping class doesn't matter that much because the normal SV school day consists mostly of lunch and those five minute increments in between classes.
