I'm back! Miss me? Yeah, I know, I missed you guys too. Turns out I had some spare time between uni and setting up my very own blog (inspired by this community, so thanks a mil!), but since I found this book at my library, I thought hey, why not? I'm fickle that way. And I can't be fucked paying any more library fines. But mostly the fickle thing.

Wow. The reboot sounds pretty awful. Jessica sounds like even more of a sociopath than she sometimes is.

Hilarious as always though - your side notes and references always crack me up.

Woah.

Reading this makes me think they completely rewrote the original, given how little it resembles it!

You made me laugh lots with the recap. :)

I think you should ghostwrite SVH books, they all need more Bruce and Lila.

These new-fangled remarks are so jarring, ugh. Although I can't help but wonder what the Dalton/Ken thing is about, that didn't really get resolved, did it?

I like Ken, but then again, maybe I'm just being attracted to the strongest sperm.

The Ken-Dalton thing, as far as I remember, didn't really get resolved. Don't worry about the strongest seed thing -- Olivia says we all are. It's just simple biology :)

You want multiculturalism in Sweet Valley, go hang out with Manny Lopez, but give me my fucking burger joint!

That made me laugh SO hard, I have no idea why! Excellent recap. It seems like they tried way too hard with the "hip new slang" and stuffed it in anywhere they could, but your recap of it was hilarious~

Ha ha, thanks. I get so mad whenever I see those three little words -- Casa de Sol. I mean, why? Are tacos really that necessary?

Seriously, there *are* still burger places like the Dairi Burger around, they could have just tweaked it slightly to make it a bit more modern. I refuse to believe Bruce Patman would eat at a place called Casa de Sol, lol
