i always figured that the one is the hat was jess, for some reason. because a bikini is pretty risque for prudey liz, and i never thought jess would wear such a fugly flowered shirt like that.
But man, check out those shades. hawt.

The one in the hat IS Jessica. I can tell the Daniels twins apart and that is definitely Brittany (Brittany was Jess in the show and on the book covers, and Cynthia was always Liz.). Also Liz would never wear such low riding shorts or a bikini top. That's definitely Jess material.

oh yeah, and i totally loved these lifeguard mini-series! Ben and Jess were totally my fave couple, pretty much of all time, until Nick the sexy cop showed up.

i also really loved wendy & pp. it was pretty much my celebrity love story come true. i always wanted this to happen with me and taylor hanson.

Wee! I'm glad you recapped this. I got a copy of the first book in the second lifeguards mini-series and I wanted to recap it. But now I don't have to explain all the backstory away! :D

This will indeed be a fun summer. Beachside love, drama, dog poop & exploding toilets. Anyone else weirded out by the scatological motif?
