This is my very first Sweet Valley snark, and I know this one has been highly anticipated. Weirdly, I didn't think it lived up to the hype I remembered 13 years ago. Anyway, hope it doesn't disappoint!

I HATED Kimberly Haver. I loved the first few Unicorn books - in particular, #4, Lila's Little Sister, and #5, Unicorns in Love. I hated that Kimberly broke them all up. I own #8, Kimberly Rides Again, and I think I read the one after that about Ellen's family issues - then the rest of the series is a blank for me, so I love this community for helping me catch up.

I'm so glad you did this book! I was "planning on" doing it for a while, but clearly that never came to fruition. So, yay!

I have a couple, they both deal with the post split. One is Lila centeric, so I'll totally recap that one.

See the brown-haired girl on the cover wearing a white t-shirt and black and white skirt? I had that exact skirt! I got it at Limited Too and wore it in ninth grade. I guess I didn't realize that the cover fashions (if you can call them that) were based on real clothes.
