This week, I'm packing, buying snacks, and trying not to panic. Hahaha. But I also hope to get more writing done now that my older child is out of the house and in her own place now(!!!). So, the word of the week this week is adjustment. Hah.

Oh...m-g... you're not kidding. That's a lot. Congrats to her on her own place! And to you for launching one, lol. May it be a rousing success.

And good luck with the packing. Anticipation's part of the fun, and don't panic. Look forward to pics!

Thanks, I'm really happy for her. I think she'll thrive on her own, we were only holding her back yanno. 🤣 She's not far from us, so even if something happens, her paternal grandparents and I aren't too far away.

Packing for this trip will be much less stressful as I know what the weather's like there in August. Haha. I'm excited, I need this break, and there ought to be lots of pictures!

Can I just tell you that the amount of people who have asked me if this is something we're wearing costumes to is insane. INSANE!

Had a decent Sunday of plot work, but Saturday was shot by our Friday night foray into San Francisco to see Tim Minchin. Still, I'm making good progress on getting my NaNo project sorted out. I would like to get the outline down by the end of the month, but as I'm planning a weekend to visit my mom, I don't think it'll happen.
Then again, next week should be pretty slow at work...we will see how things play out.

That sounds like fun! I'd love to see him. I'm guessing my odds were better when I lived in NYC but I'll have to put him on the list to look out for.

Good luck with the NaNo sorting. I'm going to at least sketch out an idea. The odds of it happening are low but... hey, why not ponder it.

I hope work cooperates.

He said during the show that it had been about 10 yrs since he'd been to San Francisco...so I feel really lucky to have caught him.

Good luck with your sketch. As mine is the last (supposedly) in a series, I have to sort out continuity stuff and timelines in multiple locations so that's taking most of my time. I have a couple new characters to flesh out but the world was already built and most of the cast's already in place.

I'm SO sorry to hear that you're going through it. ALL the good vibes are coming your way from me.

I'm a month away from my fourth annual mammogram after my treatment. Mine was a year-long course. Not easy, but it's gotten me this far.

I so hope for you that you're early stage and the treatment is easy on you.

The words will be waiting for you. And may the mice go away!

Thank you. It wasn't what I was expecting but when my doctor asked to move my check up appointment from next month to an cancelation and needed me to come in right away I had a bad feeling.

I am so happy to hear you are doing well.

I am hoping so well I am trying to focus on other things besides waiting for the call from the cancer clinic.

The mouse is a cleaver thing just when I think it is gone it makes sure I know it is still around.
