Monday is a Monday

I am writing this from Monday morning at my Home Office desk; I've scheduled it for tonight because for most of you it's still Sunday! We like to get ahead of things here in NZ (yeah, right! LOL!) Anyway, thought I'd better do it while I was thinking about it, or later I'd forget (story of my life ( Read more... )

I'd send you some of my heat if I could. <3
The rewriting is going very well, but I doubt it will be done by the end of the month before I switch gears into NaNo Prep.
I know it's only August then, but I have a lot of plotting to sort out. Maybe I'll get to sort some rewriting into it if the plotting goes faster than expected.

I need to find the post and update my words... on the plus side I'm at 53223 which is well over 50% for the year. I've also almost hit my goal for this month. But I need to work on my Vella story since I'm working to enter the contest on Amazon.

I'm sorry your wrist is feeling poorly. I totally understand the wanting to try the cheaper option first.

Woohoo! That's a fabulous count so far! Good luck with your story!

Thanks! I've used the wrap for 2 & a half days and already it's feeling better, so here's hoping it's the answer!

When I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel, doc told me to sleep in a brace, which greatly helped me during the day. Hopefully you can find a non-expensive way to fix your issue (or lessen it).

Oh man, we hit a historic record high a week ago - 120F at the airport. (I'm sure we've 'unofficially' hit higher though.) So yeah, warm summer it is.

I did not finish my story for the challenge, but I did manage 4 chapters and I'm proud of that.

Need to get back at the writing and well, also work. Hah.

Thanks! It seems to be helping so far, so I'm going to stick with it for now.

Ouch, that's hot! Our cold is not cold compared to many places, but it's very damp and with no central heating, it could definitely be warmer. Thankfully we do have a couple of heat pumps in the house that we use in the evenings, and they do a pretty good job. I also have an oil fin heater for my office, which makes that a lovely warm place to be when I'm working from home.

Yay for 4 chapters! That is awesome!

Lol, you and me both! ;-)

Yay!

Yeah, it's been brutal this summer so far. Our cold isn't that cold either, for which I am thankful. Happy to hear that the house is warm though, it's important! :D

Thanks, I need to just finish it now.

I watched a YouTube knitter I follow talk about how she's been blocked on her larger WIPs (sweaters) ...so to break the block she is knitting another sweater.

It must have stuck with me, because yesterday I signed up for a Destiel AU Reverse Big Bang on Tumblr.

Eeek...but also, who knows it may help? I want to write. I need something to get me on a roll. Here's hoping.

We have had a monsoon-y week, here. I just heard my sump pump run in July. That's so not normal. I hope my garden is okay after this latest torrential downpour. I think it will be a hit with the cukes and tomatoes. Will see about the rest.

Good luck with your BB! I hope it helps!

Ouch, not fun. I hope your garden survives and is bountiful! ;-)
