I'm a tiny bit ahead...but we'll see if I can stay that way. After losing Mama Dog (and telling myself I would stay at the four)...another Papillion showed up at the local animal shelter. As soon as I saw him, I knew he had to come home...like it was 'preordained' or something. I'll find out today whether I can pick him up today (he's getting fixed first) or if it'll be later this week, but I'll probably end up home with him for the weekend as he gets settled in...so might not be as much writing this weekend as I'd hoped for.
Also, in preparation for my trip next month (!!!!), my boss is doing payroll right now and... I'm having a panic attack. Never thought I was a control freak before but... maybe I am?
Anyway, would you believe that I'm only 600 words shy of being on target? And I ought to be able to get that knocked out over lunch. HOLY FORKING SHIRTBALLS, BENCHES. 🤣 (Why, yes, we are still watching The Good Place, how did you know?)
(And now I have the urge to listen to some Toby Keith, thanks. lol)
HA! That would be insane for me. I'm actually grateful that our week changed in that regard as I can stay a bit late that first Friday and dont' have to think aoubt someone else messing up.
It's all good, even if you lob it to me two weeks in a row.
He did great though! The only mistake I saw after was that he misread my handwriting so two different foremen got an extra hour of OT. HAH. I'm glad yours won't be impacted though.
I managed just over 600 yesterday to put me over the line. So, YAY. Now, to get caught up for today. :D
omg... I'm in the same boat with work. It doesn't end lately, and when I finally put it down my head has so little space left. I had hoped to have time to myself last weekend and then we had a minor house crisis that still managed to consume half my time both days.
There will be time for me this weekend if I have to purposely hide from everyone, lol. I might just do it. Run away from work and home.

I'm glad you were able to carve some time. My plans for this weekend are sleeping and then sleeping.
