And now I have Gary Allan's "Songs About Rain" in my head.

Hoping you don't get any more rain like you did. We got quite a lot yesterday and even *gasp* some snow in a couple areas.

I'm not even at 50% yet, but I'm about 2k ahead of where I've been for the last few months, so that makes me happy. Hope to work more on the WIP at lunch and then update my totals.

Thanks - the heavy load we were due on Tuesday night wasn't as bad as Friday, thankfully, but it was steady all night long.

50% is good after your recent lack of words, and you'll make more before the WIP Push is over! I just hope I do!!!

slow but steady progress on the WIP but a LOT of plotting/world-building/character development going on for a new project.

Very cold here...was very rainy/floody but dried up for about a week. Now we're expecting more tomorrow. I expect that will warm up the ambient temp a little as the clouds keep the heat in.

I need a job that lets me have time off when the muses are 'on' and then I work when they're not...

Oh yuck! I do not envy you the wet and rain. It's bad enough having the rain when it's warmer (the humidity sucks the life out of me!), but I DO NOT like cold either! I'm crossing my fingers for you that it gets more pleasant.
