So I said I'd start my diet on monday but I have to put it off.... GRRRR I want all or nothing! Going to write out what I'm eating each day cos I'm going food shopping on Monday.... so I'll have everything prepared and no distractions....

I'll be doing the 2468 diet.

My weight is not what it should be. My goal is to lose 20lbs by the end of 4 weeks... it's going to be hard but can't wait to get started... Joining in?

Yip sure, the more the merrier. I'm going to start on tuesday cos I've got a job interview tomorrow and I'll be going for dinner too that I can't back out of and I need to go shopping for stuff. The most I've ever lost in a week is 9lbs but I think it might be harder at the moment. I'm planning to do a detox/fast after the 4 weeks is up, not sure what yet but I'll let you know if you wanna join.

I'm currently attempting 1000 or less
no soda
and trying to eat more fruits and veggies

(stoners suck at low calorie diets)

That's fine, you don't have to go so low on the calories it's the idea that makes this diet so good. Health nuts (docs and such) recommend adding 1000 calories on top... so it's 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800. I've not tried it yet but as you can probably tell I'm quite excited about it cos it makes so much sense.

thanks for the add. and I understand about the eating thing. all I had today was a small bowl of Honey Nut Cheerioes -- and that was twelve and a half hours ago.

see I work from 5:30 am to 7:00 pm -- a 14.5 day. and I want terribly to make it through the day without eating anything.

granted, I'm cheating right now. I'm snacking on sunflower seeds.

it used to be easier to not eat. it was easier when I didn't care about my weight. but now that I do, it's so difficult.

sorry. I didn't mean for this to be so long. I'm jsut really on the fritz right now. I'm weak, breaking down. and I'm doing all this while at work. this is not good.

so yeah. that's enough for now.

Don't worry about ranting I always do it kinda go off in one.

Why do you work so long? I used to work 12 hour shifts but it was to much. Can't you take a week off work and straighten yourself out?

You need to learn about your cravings and find alternatives and stuff then you don't have to give in to your body if you get what I mean... see I'm ranting now! :-)

I'm off to bed now it's 1am and as I said got an interview tomorrow...

well, I've have 21 hours the past two semesters at college, so working during the week is basically out of the question. as such, I work 27-ish hours in two days -- Sat and Sun. (and I meant to type 13.5, not 14.5; we just recently changed our hours, so it still throws me off.)

and how would I go about learning about my cravings? because I think being able to do that would be excellent! :D

It's like if you crave sugar get something that is really sweet but low in calories e.g jelly just understand what you're craving and then work out your alternative for it so you don't go mad calorie wise.... I'm pretty drunk now so it makes sense if you don't get it let me know and I'll revise when I'm sober!! :-)
