Murata waves as he sees someone and if people don't come to him and his relentlessly open posts in the community then he will go to them. Be very afraid.

"Hello!" He beams at Crowley. "That's nice of you to feed the ducks!" Then he pauses thoughtfully as he sees their odd behaviour.

Caught with an expression that's somewhere between annoyed and sheepish, Crowley turns to look at him.

"Nice? Funny, I never thought of it that way before."

"Well, feeding them is a nice thing but.... they don't all seem to be enjoying the food, do they?" He laughs. "What are in those crumbs?"

"Magic," Crowley replies with a slight grin, flicking another crumb out into the water and watching two ducks squabble over it. "Combine it with a bored demon, and you get endless hours of entertainment."

Haynes is out walking (the cold makes his shocks worse, sometimes, and being in the open makes him nervous, but there's something soothing about nature -- it isn't plutonium, anyway, and that's something) and pauses to watch the ducks, not seeming to register their strange behavior.

Crowley glances over at him, tossing a few crumbs at a particularly plump duck.

"Can I help you?" He's feeling slightly cranky today.

Haynes shakes his head. "Sorry -- no -- I didn't mean to interrupt." There's a little spark between his fingertips; it tends to happen when he's nervous, and today his mood is agitated.

"The poor things," Aziraphale clucks sympathetically from just behind the demon. "They can't make good prey for you, really, my dear. They're just ducks."

"Exactly," Crowley grins in an infuriating manner, "if they're just ducks, then why shouldn't I take out some of my frustration on them?"

Aziraphale purses his lips, hemming a bit as he works out an appropriate argument.

"...what have you got to be frustrated about, my boy?" is probably less than convincing.

Typist: I'm out of practice. XD

"First of all, Lucifer - well, his uppity Underduke, actually - sent me on a wild goose chase of an Assignment. And secondly, somebody dented the Bentley while I was gone."

"I know, I know, it can be fixed," he hurriedly adds, before Aziraphale can say anything, "but it's the principle of things."

We're surprised he isn't flinging rocks at the ducks.
