I was very shock to hear about this, hoping it's not true but already confirmed officially SMAP disbanded. I'm not a fan of them, but I feel sad for this shocking news and esp for their fans. My question is, what would happen to the groups under Iijima fraction? Will they join Julie? I do hope Sexy Zone will taken by Julie K lol :D
there is a chance that Sexy Zone will be under her, xD because I'm starting to see hope that all 5 members will be together again~ my only worry is Busaiku, I'm not a kisumai fan but... if it is true, then what will happen to them? because they're produced by Nakai himself :/
I'm sad and shocked to see this :( even though I wasn't a fan... Imagine five secs after one of the greatest musical heroes (in my opinion) has died and then a group which has awesome songs disband... I feel a part of me will disolve this year TT.TT (edit: Wait, Arashi are owned by Julie?! I thought they work with J-Storm!)
yeah i know right.... and this year is their 25th year of debut.... :( ah..... i was so shocked when i saw this, the moment i woke up, i received the news like in the early morning and i just stoned there.. i am so not looking forward to this year... I mean, Junno is leaving during April and SMAP is going to disband :/
*P.S : Arashi is under Julie, J-Storm is just the labels of J&A that is named after Arashi
It's not going well for Johnny's Entertainment, I can tell, since one of the greatest bands is disbanding! However the good thing is I have a feeling that Arashi will produce a single soon! I can feel it! Come on Julie and J-Storm! We're counting on you!
I'm really worried about Busaiku tok right now. What's gonna happen to their album then? And also I thought SZ and ABC-Z's been transferred to Julie since last year bc coming out with a sudden 5-people single and ABC-Z's first single seemed really odd with what's happened to the groups.
I'm an Arashi fan for their TV shows but can't help but think that it's just a little bit pathetic to be singing and dancing to such juvenile music at their age, let alone a group in their 40s such as SMAP. The only way I can wrap my head around it all is to view them as festival leaders than performers and I do appreciate that their concerts make a lot of people happy. There's no harm in it but there's absolutely no maturation or development of skill, either

I really can't agree that Arashi as a group have talent even though I'm a fan. Matsumoto is nothing special, Aiba is there to be a clown, and Sho doesn't have a creative bone in his body as far as I can tell, thouh every group needs a straight man. And Johnny's is an agency with an incredibly low standard for talent. On top of which its rules about what its talents can and can't do does indeed impede an artist's creative development, in the rare case they have any to begin with. Luckily most seem to be in it for fortune and fame. Imagine what sort of movies Nino could star in if he wasn't bound by the morality clauses Johnny's has in place to protect the ridiculius fantasies of the female fans they try to squeeze every last penny from (including from the cynical concert lottery system that requires you be a paying member of a fanclub to apply for

well... I have nothing to retort x'D but one particular part I totally agree is that they'll try to squeeze every last penny. (to be honest, I rather spend the money on healthy diet food or something rather than the fanclub membership)
the faction wars are like bullshit, I mean, each side are not allowed to appear on either one of the programs. but I don't see improvement from either of the sides.

based on what I know, they're not transferred yet. (since Iijima is still here.)
