Meh, why not?

It's a good time-filler, I suppose. And I'll probably let Sheridan take the thing, too...

MOUTHOLOGY

Q. What is your salad dressing of choice?
A. Probably either Italian or balsamic vinegar. I adore balsamic vinegar too much for my own good...

Q. What is your favorite fast food restaurant?
A. Not really sure. I like the fries from McDonald's, but I like ( Read more... )

- balsamic is the best, especially with goat cheese/salmon. Mmm.
- I'm nearsighted and I miss my glasses since the frames are in repair (for more than a week...hmmmm!!!)
- I was almost named Daria. Ack!
- because I've never been kissed romantically. I am a nerd and therefore do not get dates. Which isn't really lame 'cause we're just waiting for the right people ;D. Although me, I have guy friends I hang out with, so it's not really "date".

- I put balsamic on practically everything that can be considered 'salad.' It's just the greatest.
- Over a week? Ouch! That can't be fun...
- ...Daria? Whoa. My parents were torn between Jennifer and Stephanie, and when I was actually born my dad addressed me as Stephanie and I looked at him and stopped crying, so they went with that. It's a weird story...
- Yeah, I guess it'll happen eventually...I'll give it some time. (It'd be nice, though...)

What locked me in as Anastasia was my mom was trying to come up with a name that would fit my given middle name, Igorevna, after my father, and Anastasi(y)a Igorevna fits very well. That's the problem with Russian names: they always have to depend on the "middle" name you're given before birth because of your father.

:D Yeah, it would be nice.

That's actually really interesting, though! (My brother and I get our middle names from our parents' first names, but I think that may have just been an afterthought...)

I kinda love when you hear of your almost names. Like I was almost a Lara, after "Lara's Theme" from Dr. Zhivago. It was between that and Melissa, after the Allman Brothers Band's song of the same name. Depended on what song my parents heard first...on teh way to the hospital, they heard "Melissa" thus my name. Though if I were a boy, I was gonna be named Austin(which is a pretty badassed name)

Austin? That is an awesome name! My parents have never told me what they thought my name would be if I were a boy, and if they have I can't really remember what they said...(I only got my name because it was the first one I physically responded to, too...)

I feel like a horrible person for giggling when you thanks your ma and pa for taking you to take your appendix out. Very cure.

Oh my gos, that picture is too much.

It's okay...I can't remember too much of it, anyway, because I was kind of half-conscious from the operation on. But I do remember them deciding to take me to the hospital...I owe 'em!

It seriously is. I also have it printed out and up on my wall...it's just so damn adorable!

1. I think balsamic vinegar is awesome because it's from Modena (or the best is, at least). And that makes it automatically awesome.
2. I totally don't get why you don't sit in the shower, since they keep them so clean here at the Burg.
3. I was almost named Danny. Because up until a week before I was born, they thought I was a boy.

1. Yay Modena! Home of Ferrari, if I remember correctly...(hearts Ferraris)

2. Now if only those other freshmen didn't puke in them all the time...it'd be perfect, and then maybe I would use the floor! (One time somebody vomited in one of our toilets and it was like that the whole weekend. UGH.)

3. I really should ask my parents what they would've called me had I been a boy...I'm becoming increasingly curious now.

1. Modena is teh best. My great grandmother was from there. I'm SO not biased. AND Ferraris? Well, then Modena should really just take over the world.

2. That's just a little thing...I mean, there must be ONE that doesn't have vomit in it! (Actualy, I REALLY hope that's true.) And the whole floor idea is nice! I remember last year our showers were really tiny and in groups of four--I should have taken all four at one time!! (That is beyond disgusting. I hate drunken freshmen.)

3. It is pretty interesting. (For me the girl story is boring--it was either Mary Katherine or Mary Theresa, which mom felt was too Catholic.)

1. I have family from around the Naples area (and apparently from Corsica, as well, so I can totally pretend to be related to Napoleon Bonaparte or something...). If Modena took over the world, I totally wouldn't mind.

2. My floor's ridiculous! And the rushing...when the frats and sororities were rushing, nearly everyone on the floor went. Only a few of us didn't. We went to Servo. I got stuck on a party floor!

3. My middle name is my mom's first name; same with my brother and my dad. We're not very exciting name-wise, either... (I want to name my son Donalbain, though, if I have a son, and my mom said not to. Waaah.)

So our food taste is pretty different, but other than that we're kind of similar. And my dad lived in Hackensack and I'm pretty sure my older brother was born there.

Yay Hackensack! My mom wasn't born there, but she grew up there, and we still go to this pastry shop there that is totally a front run by the Mafia (it even burned down once...!). It's an interesting place...

I actually just talked to my dad, and he didn't live in Hackensack, he lived in Fort Lee. So I guess we just drove through Hackensack or something? I have definitely heard of it, though. That pastry shop sounds cool! Haha, I want to go there. What's it called? (We take trips to NYC a lot and make sure to stop in NJ to visit some old friends and this hot dog place my dad adores).

Ah, Fort Lee! I'm pretty close to there (when I'm not in college in PA). I'm pretty sure the pastry shop was given the very creative name of 'Hackensack Pastry Shop,' too...They have the best homemade Italian ice I've ever had.
