So, I read "Norfolk" and wondered why I had never heard of Alfredo Simon because I follow so many Mets fans on Twitter and Tumblr, and friended on LJ. And then I realized that ... Norfolk is no longer the Mets AAA. Smrt, I am. I blame this on way too much RPing of minor leagues!David.

It was maybe only a few years ago that they switched from Mets to Orioles...I don't even know how long the Mets were in New Orleans before they went to Buffalo. I'm so used to Pawtucket-like things where teams stay forever...

Epic? Yes. Leanne and I have a whole canon of David/Jake beginning in '04, right before David was called up and Jake sustained an injury that put him on the DL for the year. I should show you sometime - we did the night before David went up to NY, which was the first time Mike kissed him. gaaahhhh. ♥

(All this RPing has made me sympathetic to David lately, the way he's been absolutely torched in the papers. He sounds exactly like !David and it's really quite creepy. o.O)
