I like giving fictional pitchers my money!

Wow, I've been busy! Let me just sum up my Saturday and Sunday really quickly, and then we'll talk about what wondrous thing arrived in the mail today.

Saturday was very nice, actually - we went to a sushi bar for Mihashi's birthday. First, though, we made a stop at Kinokuniya, which is a Japanese bookstore. I somehow managed to stay under budget ( Read more... )

...if he didn't look just like Clay Buchholz, I totally wouldn't be broke right now.

But he looks like Clay Buchholz. So I am broke. Yay!

Awww, but it' sokay. Apparently Clay is as geeky and shy in real life as he seems(a friend of mine went to Lowell's book signing party thingie. She says it was epic). I spent my weekend being a giant nerd and I'm STILL continuing it!

Awww, they really are the same person! That makes me happy...

(...of course, I'm insanely jealous - I'd love to have gone to that signing, but I'd probably have been too shy!)

I did, too! I blew my money on fictional baseball players! (I need to do that comparison post soon...)

Prince of Tennis is one of the gayest and funniest animes/mangas ever. Ever.

The Kinokuniya in NY closed. We have Asahiya catering to our interests.

That's pretty much why I picked it up! I have a friend at school who's obsessed with it, so I decided to see what it was about...I already love it.

Waaaah, it closed? I used to go to that one (I hit the one at the Palisades Mall instead)! (makes a mental note to go to Asahiya from now on...)

All the Oofuri is awesome!!! And Prince of Tennis? You make Choutan happy (even if you won't meet him for awhile)!

AND BIBLE GAME? ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS...BIBLE GAME.

It makes me happy, even if it also made me broke! I'm starting - two of my friends are also getting into it (one is even dragging me to buy a few more volumes tomorrow! I told her that Eiji and Oishi are married).

I KNOW. TAJIMA AND I ARE SETTING RECORDS ALREADY! (I'm gonna let Sakaeguchi get his first crack at it later, too...)

Hey, happiness > money. I've found at least. HOORAY!!! Tenipuri needs lots of love. It's too cracky not to. (Yay! ...THEY ARE. SO SO MARRIED. [I noticed I totally have a thing for married/in-love doubles teams...])

AWESOME!!! KENYA AND HANAI AND I DID THAT YESTERDAY. (That should be very fun...)

It does! It really does! I mean, now I have lots of gay sports manga, and what's happier than that? (They seriously are. And I haven't even seen too much of them. Also, my friend has decided she likes Tezuka...and she played as Ryoma on Bible Game earlier, too!) I also love that since I used to play tennis a little bit I know what they're talking about!

Sakaeguchi is wicked good at Tower of Babel. We're just playing minigames right now, but he got 1224 points on his first try at it...
