The First Annual Pawtucket Red Sox Dork-Off

May 16, 2008 18:59

I'm at a friend's house, which means there won't be any game-threading tonight (I am seriously beginning to miss those...I just can't seem to keep not being there! Argh!).

What I can do, though, is spread some dork love.

...I have absolutely no idea. I kind of love it, though, whatever it is...

They're the greatest! I'm definitely catching a game in Pawtucket this season, even if it kills me...

I think I need to, too...

However, I already got tickets to the Futures at Fenway :D

I fully intend on doing that at some point (I don't think I'll be able to this year, but perhaps next year). I was also thinking of buying myself a radar gun to take with me just to see how many people I could convince into thinking I was a scout...

...I have no idea. He's just being Jed. This occasionally requires being really dorky, apparently. (But I love him for that...!)

Jed is a royal dork. I love him a lot.

He really is! I think that's actually why I love him, because it makes him seem more real to me...(It doesn't hurt that I'm a huge dork myself...)

But of course! I actually was describing why the minors are so great to a friend (I'm dragging her to McCoy... in TEN DAYS) and I used the example of when Jed spat sunflower seeds onto his sleeve in his first major league game. She appreciates dorkiness too.

Jed is just the perfect example when you need to find someone dorky, isn't he? I love him for that...it makes him seem so real!

Hooray for your McCoy trip! I'm planning mine for early July...I hope we both get to see Justin! (has her fingers crossed) I mean, if he's starting tomorrow (which is what I heard through the grapevine), there's a pretty good chance...

I KNOW, AREN'T THEY? (It's occasionally fun to be really, really shallow, isn't it?)
