The First Annual Pawtucket Red Sox Dork-Off

May 16, 2008 18:59

I'm at a friend's house, which means there won't be any game-threading tonight (I am seriously beginning to miss those...I just can't seem to keep not being there! Argh!).

What I can do, though, is spread some dork love.
redsox_njdevils linked me to these pictures, and I think the world needs to see them - watch the PawSox (and one or two Portlanders - the two pitchers heading the rotation up there, in fact) goof off!

From left to right: Jed Carlson Lowrie, Dusty Brown, PawSox manager Ron Johnson (RJ), Rick Astley Justin Masterson, Jon Van Every, Michael Bowden. See how they try to be imposing by crossing their arms? ...yeah, Jed, smiling like that doesn't make you look scary.

Jed and Dusty pose off to the left. And Jed cannot do this with a straight face. I am seriously beginning to doubt his ability to do almost anything with a straight face...but I won't complain, because it entertains me. I would also love to know what Bowden is doing off to the right there...

Justin pretends to be contemplative, which Jon appears to find somewhat amusing...
You can find all of these here, but make sure to thank
redsox_njdevils for finding them in the first place, because they're amazing! Right, off to get some lovely food now...
