younha had smiled to herself thinking that she's really glad to have met them.
a/n. a bit rushed at the end, but i just wanted it written and done with; written for the ❝2008 idol crossover (smut) anonymeme❞.
d. i don't know hyukjae, or junsu, or younha, nor am i affiliated with sme. none of these happened the way i wrote them.

She was trying to bite back sobs when she first saw them, bickering, teasing each other.
"I totally owned your sorry ass," the boy with the slightly high-pitched voice said.
"Aish! You got higher in singing," the other one scoffed, not one to back down even though his friend did get the higher score, "We got tie in everything else!"
"I can't believe we got the same score in stage presence."
"Look who's talking, you were copying my gimmick out there!" and then switching to an exaggerated falsetto, "I'm also good at everything except studying! That was my line!"
"I didn't see any copyright with your name on it."
Younha stood there, staring them with wide, practically tear-brimmed eyes. At least they had decent scores, why did they have to shove it in each other's faces? Much more her face, when she had the crappiest audition scores ever.

It brought a smile to her face when her manager first informed her that she's set to guest on Super Junior's Kiss the Radio, and come the day, Hyukjae, no, Eunhyuk had tentatively smiled at her (and while he's Eunhyuk now, he still had the same smile, gums and all) when she walked in.
"When we first heard about you coming, Eunhyuk-sshi was really excited, and he told me, 'hyung, I know her from before,' and none of us members would believe him!" Eeteuk was saying.
Younha laughed, and started to explain, "Yes, actually I met him and Junsu-oppa at the same time."
"Ahhh! DBSK's Kim Junsu. He and our Eunhyuk were inseparable even then, huh?" Eeteuk said, smiling wide.
"It wasn't by choice!" Eunhyuk interjected, but with a huge grin on his face.
"They were always arguing," Younha said.
"They are, aren't they?" Eeteuk chuckled.
"When I was in Japan, I ran into Junsu-oppa, and we got around to talking about Hyukjae-oppa," Younha began, grinning, "and he was saying things like 'ah that idiot is now the lead rapper in Super Junior, I can't believe he actually made it!' but you can tell he was really proud of his friend."
"They do that a lot don't they? DBSK's Junsu, and our Eunhyuk," Eeteuk said, laughing.
"Aish! You guys don't have to repeat it over and over again!"

It's been years since the failed SM audition, and she'd gone through way more disastrous auditions before she finally debuted in Japan, but Younha still remembers.
Hyukjae had been the one to see her trying not to cry, and glaring at them. He'd smiled at her, and had dragged Junsu along with him, saying, "Hello! What's your name?"
She'd continued glaring at them at first, still annoyed at their obnoxious bickering, when Junsu had punched Hyukjae on the shoulder, saying, "Look, monkey, you made her cry!"
"I did not!"
"Yes you did!" and then Junsu had turned to Younha, smiling, "He did, didn't he?"
When she didn't say anything, and just stood there staring, Hyukjae had been the first to pat her shoulder and say, "Don't worry, it really wasn't that bad."
"Auditions are very unpredictable," Junsu added, "It can go good or bad, we all just have to do our best."
"Easy for you to say," Younha hissed, finally not able to keep it in, tears falling down her cheeks, "you did well!"
Both boys looked taken aback.
"Look, it's not like there's anything we can do at this point," Hyukjae had finally said, "but if this is what we really want to do, then Junsu's right, we just have to do what we can."
After a minute of silence, Junsu smiled again, "How about we just go get ice cream?"
"We're Hyukjae and Junsu, by the way. Younha, right?" Hyukjae said, "Come on, this idiot's treating us out."
"What?!"
"Well, you keep bragging about your high singing score, you might as well treat us losers out, yes?"
Younha had let out a stifled giggle then. She remembers, at that moment, what had been obnoxious, for some reason, had turned to something funny and cute. She also remembers, later that day, when they went their separate ways, she'd overheard the best friends talking as they walked away:
"Hey, nothing will change if you get in and I don't, right?" Hyukjae said.
"What are you talking about? We'll make it big together!"
"But, no, seriously -"
"Pfft, if you want to think that way, then fine! I'll make it big myself and I will forget the likes of you, Lee Hyukjae!"
And Hyukjae had smacked him hard, and as she watched them walk away, Younha had smiled to herself thinking that she's really glad to have met them, even though they were really a weird pair.
