LOL thanks. :) You know there's a batshit awesome anime in there somewhere, with chibis and sparkly backgrounds for action scenes and the Impala turns into a tiny dragon and their dad is dressed like a samurai, and I'm so disappointed in Japan for not going for it.
I have to admit, I had insta!squee when I saw this on my flist. ::raises hand and fist pumps:: Ahem. I have to say, I'm surprised that you were the first one to have it on my flist! I am not going to steal your trailer and repost it, as I feel I must spread the word of a trailer far and wide.
::hugs:: If you want good animated Jensen, just watch Batman: Under the Red Hood. He does Jason Todd's voice and hoo-boy, he is COMPELLING.
Yeah, you should be able to find a HD or Blu-ray rip on the interwebs. :) It's SO GOOD. The story is excellent - well, "A Death in the Family" is just a bittersweet, violent, and angsty Bat-tale to begin with - and the animation and voice acting are spot on. You really hear that Jensen angst bleed through in Jason Todd's emotional scenes, rendering to too, slashtastic in a Batman loves his Robins sort of way. ;)
Yeah, I'm not totally sold on his design, but I feel better about it, now that I see it in motion. (I realize that probably makes zero sense.)
Also, LOL at the George Takei-like narrator at the end.
I just love that there's been so much to look forward to, SPN-wise. The rest of the gag reel, the rumored spoilers/guest stars, the anime--it's gonna be a busy season.

Don't like the style, it reminds me of stuff like Lain or Noir or the animes where no one is allowed to laugh or have fun, ever.
