There was no concern for their confusion, their welfare. No answers to their questions of 'Why?'
There was no explanation. Just the decision.
No one would claim responsibility for the ruling. It just was.
How could they just place judgment without trial? Shouldn't someone speak for them?
Why did they get no say? This was their home, also.
They shouldn't be run off for being different.
When had everything changed? How did they not see it?
They were friends, weren't they? Friends don't send each other away.
For once, everything was not better in Milltown.
