Some are a mix of a thing and a technical, like cropping or negative space or simplicity.. even some stock. Not to mention a particular filter I

Okay, not to hijack your thread or anything, but since I can't stop thinking about these things: if I were to finally get my ass in gear, re: Star Trek comm which would you prefer as far as teams: names based on captains, names based on ships, names based on tracks of service, or something else entirely?

First question would be how many teams are you looking at?

I'd be first in line for Team Riker or Team Excelsior Team KHAAAAAAAN (it's 15 characters *nods*), mind you.. but, in my experience on the Stargate landcomm side, having teams named for different series put one team as a super disadvantage because no one liked that show, and 90% of the members wanted to be on the other team because it was the show they liked/watched/was airing (thereby leaving the third team to just -be-). Things got a little ugly and the teams were reformed by job description, which did help (science, military, aliens), but the comm never really recovered from the initial problems. So, going by captain names could -possibly- cause some pre-tension. Ships or races could, potentially, have the same effect... but, please know that I'm purposefully being the negative nelly on this one, for the sake of someone's going to bring it up later, therefore might as well have a prepared answer! :D

I would have been COMPLETELY content with Grissom/Heather as the end-game.. mostly because I knew they would never actually get Grissom and Catherine together..

I've disliked Sara from Day One.. so.. Bleh.

So great to see all your love for so many different things! I doubt you meant to do it on purpose, but I love the transition from light to dark blue moving through the buffalo, LJ, and then Pepso icons! And it's great to see someone else making a sports team icon! I haven't made my post yet, but it'll include a whole row of L.A. Kings cuz hockey's the only sport I follow! :P

I can't say I even noticed that. :D It was entirely a case of random numbering. :D but we'll say I planned it, yeah?

I am also a fan of the hockey. and while I have little interest in football, I do have a player that I will root for until the end of time. :D
