Lovely set. I like how you have managed to stick to the original brownish coloring, it gives the whole set a period feel that fits.

My fave hands down is Hair. I really like Far Away, too, it has great depth. The cap you chose for the category set has several funny details that work well in each icon. I also really like the glowy lighting you've got going on in the ac set.

If you want a hint about what you could improve: I would suggest sharpening the icons a bit more - although you might not have done it on purpose? It goes well with the period effect in any case.

Of course it also depends on the quality of the source caps, so sometimes there isn't much you can do.

What I usually do is I duplicate the icon base and sharpen it (just a simple "Sharpen" once) and then lower the opacity of the sharpened layer until it isn't too sharp anymore. You can also mask parts that look too sharp - depending on the icon, sometimes there are parts that need more sharpening than others.

Thank you!

I think the filter I used to lighten things up made them too fuzzy -- part of the problem is that the editor I use shows up wonky on my screen, so while they save clear, they don't look it. Balancing how I see them and how they actually save is tricky.

But, I'll see what I can do with the tips. Thank you for that!

LOL, i spy a neal icon in there :) now i know why you picked this episode/show! i've never watched it myself (not really into the superhero craze, although I feel like i'm missing quite a bit of good fandom!!) but these are awesome, plus anything visually 'vintage' to work with always comes out looking gorgeous imo :) faves are hair, far away, weapon and the amazing crop on ac 2, xo.

I am nothing if not completely predictable :D *bows*

My skills with icons didn't do this episode any sort of justice, I'm afraid. But, aside from the fact she's a character from the Marvelverse, Agent Carter is really one of those period shows that you don't really have to know the backstory -- as long as you know -who- Captain America is, you're pretty much good.
