Round 2 Themes
ROUND RULES
* Icons created must be your own creations and new/created specifically for the current round.
* Icons must fit LJ standards (under 40kb, 100x100 pixels and either .png, .gif, or .jpg file format).
* Make sure to post your icons to this journal, or your own (and link us to your PUBLIC journal) before voting goes up otherwise you will be ineligible to join the voting.
* Do not post your icons to this post, please create a new post.
* When posting to the community, please use 3 icon teasers and then either a lj-cut or link to your own journal. *all entries are moderated & don't worry about adding your tags*
* Make sure to tag your post using the appropriate claim and user tag if they already exist. A mod will create new tags for you if needed.
* When posting to the community, please make sure to put "Round 1: Your Claim" as the subject line.
* Sign-ups will be open through the entire round.
* Deadline is December 20th, 2015 at midnight in your own timezone.
THEMES
10 themes:
first scene, hair, black & white on color, far away, fake background
shadows, weapon, favorite character, muted, one word
(examples and description below)
First Scene
icon something from the first scene in your claimed episode
Hair
Your icon must feature the subject's hair; the subject's hair should be the main focus of the icon
i.e.
benchable / starry_night / tiptoetwirl
Black & White on Color
the background of the icon should be in color while something in the foreground is black & white
i.e.
fassy / violateraindrop / starkwars
Far Away
your icon should focus on something from a great distance
i.e.
thenightvale / bad_numbers / tiptoetwirl
Fake Background
your icon should have a fake background (ie. colorings, textures, etc)
i.e.
bad_numbers / fassy / starry_night
Shadows
the subject of your icon should be in shadows
i.e.
theotherayn / sietepecados / sucksucksmile
Weapon
a weapon of some sort should be shown in your icon
i.e.
bad_numbers / julie_izumi / crazycordy
Favorite Character
icon your favorite character from your claimed episode!
Muted
use muted colors in your icon
i.e.
naginis / violateraindrop / tturners
One Word
please include one (1) word in your icon. It can be repeated multiple times, but only a single word can be used.
i.e.
raiindust / bad_numbers / bangel_4e
5 Category
Same Picture - Find a single photo/screencap from your episode and create 5 different icons, using only the same photo. You can resize, color, duplicate, etc. You are also free to use any kind of textures you'd like, but you can only use the one photo. Any questions, feel free to ask!
5 Artist's Choice free
