Adora forced herself to pull away from Wyatt's kiss when she couldn't breathe, holding for a moment with his lower lip between her teeth. Her palm pressed against the center of his chest, pushing him back with all the force she could muster, while her other hand sat at his waist, her fingers hooking over his waistband.
She didn't want him getting too far away, after all.
She sucked in a deep breath and lifted her chin, watching Wyatt for a moment before she stood straight and stretched to kiss him again. Wyatt's hand moved to her neck and turned his head to get a better seal against her lips.
He could do this all night long...
Neither of them seemed to notice the deafening crack of thunder overhead, nor the rattling of the rain on the roof and windows of the jail. Somehow, Adora had enough focus to push Wyatt backwards until he hit the edge of the doorway.
He groaned, feeling the corner of the door frame get him square between the shoulders. "Mmm," he mumbled, trying to get Adora's attention. "Mmm," he said again, reaching for her shoulders.
A moment later, he managed to break the kiss.
