Wyatt held up a single flower and gave a smirk to his wife. Adora stepped closer and narrowed her eyes, but still reached for the gift. "You're late," she finally said, though her smile implied she wasn't exactly angry.
"Oh," Wyatt grumbled, then shrugged, "I'm just extremely early for next annual." Adora hummed and took a moment to hold the bloom to her nose. "I'm sorry," he said a moment later.
Adora glanced away and smiled, letting out a slow breath. "I suppose you're forgiven."
Wyatt grinned and leaned in for a slow kiss. Pulling back, he whispered: "Happy Birthday."
