As Claude passed the fish and chip shop, he thought he saw Sophie, and she certainly looked like she was looking for someone.

This is getting too bleedin' weird. First, I think of Peter and 'e shows up. Now it's Sophie. What next? Claude mused to himself. Granted, his meeting with Peter had gone better than he'd expected, so Claude reckoned he'd wait for Sophie to come to him and hear what she had to say. He still wanted to get lunch and go home, but Claude reckoned he could wait a bit.

To Sophie, the whole thing seemed a lot less coincidental. She'd already been looking for a while now, after all. There was a sudden spike of relief as she caught sight of the infrared apparition and headed determinedly in his direction.

Claude paused. He wasn't going to do anything to draw attention to himself, that wasn't his way, but he certainly could wait for Sophie to reach him.

"Hey, Claude," she muttered as she got close enough for it to be heard. "Got some questions for you." And I just hope you know what to do, because I'm out of ideas.

She nodded in the direction of the little blind alley they'd used last time. Much better than a crowd.

Claude was in a fairly good mood since he'd gotten the news that Claire was OK, so he was feeling a bit less secretive than usual.
