He'd been there for two hours now. Two long hours in which he had worked himself into a panic. Oh, there were other emotions--Fleeting burst of joy regarding finally getting some kind of satisfaction followed by utter guilt for how he had gotten it. But mostly, it was sheer panic. Only thoughts of starry nights kept his power under check, repeated in between orders. The truth was he had no idea how he was supposed to explain this or even rationalize it to Zach. And he knew that that was going to happen because, well, it had to. Zach might be a high schooler but he wasn't an idiot. Joey knew that somehow, someway, the guy knew something wasn't right and that something had happened.

Even if he had made sure his thrice-damned coat was tucked under his arm, there had to have been something left behind or left strangely enough to raise alarm. Or he was just being paranoid. It was possible. But really, if the guy was a human gps, that sorta made hiding a non-option.

Ergo, he was Jack's complete raging panic. Not that anyone could see it with his "feel my caffeinated happiness" smile he used at work. It wasn't at one hundred percent, how could it when most of it was based off a normal smile (which was the last thing he felt like doing)? There was only one thing he could do. Keep smiling. Just keep smiling and everything will be okay.
