Off limits to the living worldMacKenzie sighed softly, stifling a yawn. The bed was soft enough that she was certain she would fall straight to sleep if she laid back in it. Life had been anything but relaxing

Sleep might be a little harder to come by tonight- a tall, dark-haired man was standing by Mackenzie's nightstand, gazing dubiously at the titles. He wasn't bad-looking, in a slightly oily way that suggested "used car salesman", but he shouldn't have been there at all.

And....she was asleep again. Obviously. Having another of those dreams. She decided to call it one of 'those', if this was going to be a recurring one. It'd be easier that way.

She blinked, staring up at the man that shouldn't be there, for a few moments, then threw the blue book at him.

The book passed straight through the apparition- a disturbing sight, since he looked quite solid- suffering no more resistance than would be offered by a shadow. For a moment he hardly seemed to notice, but then he looked up at Mackenzie.

"Do you know Amy?" he asked.

That was just as unsettling as the last time.

"Amy...who?" She frowned slightly. "Shouldn't you be talking about a world crisis or something?"

"Amy Sparks," the man replied. "I don't know about the world. I never asked questions like that."
