When I first read this I thought it seemed quite down-to-earth almost, quite rooted in realism, and now on rereading it I realise how surreal and trippy it actually is! I really like how you've got that sense of eerieness in it, combined with the simple statements.

Thank you! :) The thing about Edward is that he came to normalise this stuff and so it's at once eerie and mundane. There's this whole thing where he took pills so that he could hallucinate (and have conversations with) Oswald when he thought that he was dead.

Another show I've gotten very behind on...I'll add the catch up to my ever growing list of "Stuff to do". Nigma and Cobblepot are creepily in character here - even without watching up-to-date I could see this being an actual scene in a future episode.
