Day 11

Jan 05, 2015 09:12

Hopefully this shows up because after realising that, once again I had written a fic too many (you'd think I would be able to count by now), I removed one to go in my 'spares' document and LJ threw a wobbly and told my the connection had failed. Anyway, assuming anyone can read this...

On the eleventh day of Christmas ( Read more... )

sleeping dogs, legacy of kain, marvel agents of shield, day 11, mass effect, warehouse 13, enslaved: odyssey to the west, gotham, bomb girls, primeval, malory towers, numbers

Don't know the last one but really like the ambiguity of it! And the Bomb Girls one is really sweet, aww. As is the Primeval one, actually - a nice sense of wonder!

Awww, Commissioner Gordon :(

I think contingency plans for people going rogue is entirely sensible!

The Numbers one made me laugh and I liked the dialogue in the Warehouse 13 one.

Aaaah, really cool Soul Reaver fic - really catches the drama of that cutscene!

And awww, Darrell! That's a really sweet poignant fic, and nice to see something from her POV to complement the ones you wrote for Sally.

Have you ever heard of the tv series Monkey? It's a bit before my time (late 1970s?) but my dad used to watch it and he showed me some old episode when I was younger. Anyway - that series was based on a book by Wu Cheng'en called Journey to the West; and Enslaved is the video game this is kind of vaguely based on both but not really. I don't know that you needed all that information now that I've written it...
Anyway, it's an incredibly good game considering it's lack of sales.

I've not heard of the TV series but I do know the Journey to the West story (vaguely, mainly due to a manga loosely based on it >_>) That is pretty interesting though that it's a game based on a TV series based on a legend, it's interesting to come across stuff like that!
